چکیده
We present Barrier-based Simplex (Bb-Simplex), a new, provably correct design for runtime assurance of continuous dynamical systems. Bb-Simplex is centered around the Control Architecture, which consists high-performance advanced controller not guaranteed to maintain safety plant, verified-safe baseline controller, and decision module that switches control plant between two controllers ensure without sacrificing performance. In Bb-Simplex, Barrier certificates are used prove ensures safety. Furthermore, features new automated method deriving, from barrier certificate, conditions switching controllers. Our based on Taylor expansion certificate yields computationally inexpensive conditions. consider significant application microgrid featuring an in form neural network trained using reinforcement learning. The modeled RTDS, industry-standard high-fidelity, real-time power systems simulator. results demonstrate can automatically derive complex systems, overly conservative, even presence adversarial attacks controller.

abstract type-ii fuzzy logic has shown its superiority over traditional fuzzy logic when dealing with uncertainty. type-ii fuzzy logic controllers are however newer and more promising approaches that have been recently applied to various fields due to their significant contribution especially when the noise (as an important instance of uncertainty) emerges. during the design of type- i fuz...

This paper shows how to use Barrier Certificates (BaCs) to design Simplex Architectures for hybrid systems. The Simplex architecture entails switching control of a plant over to a provably safe Baseline Controller when a safety violation is imminent under the control of an unverified Advanced Controller. A key step of determining the switching condition is identifying a recoverable region, wher...
متن کاملTrustBase: An Architecture to Repair and Strengthen Certificate-based Authentication
We describe TrustBase, an architecture that provides certificate-based authentication as an operating system service. TrustBase enforces best practices for certificate validation for all applications and transparently enables existing applications to be strengthened against failures of the CA system. The TrustBase system allows simple deployment of authentication systems that harden the CA syst...

The apparition of some laws that make the electronic signature (e-signature) legally equivalent to handwritten signature (under some circumstances) has favoured its use in different fields such as e-commerce, e-government, etc. In these fields, some signed documents have to be stored and remain valid over long periods of time. For this kind of e-signatures some formats such as CAdES and XAdES h...

In spite of the vital role played by Digital Certificates in Public Key Cryptographic systems, the overhead involved in maintaining those made them prohibitory. Certificateless Public Key Cryptography [1] was proposed as an alternative. It was based on based on the concept of implicit certification. Even though Certificateless Public Key Cryptography (CLPKC) combines the appealing features of P...
